Bennett and Perkins Trio

Kathy Bennett and Thom Perkins, along with multi-instrumentalist Taylor Whiteside, blend guitar, fiddle, and mandolin and tight harmonies into a sound that’s both timeless and deeply personal.

Rooted in Americana, folk, and roots traditions, their original songs speak of love, loss, and life’s winding journey — music that feels as familiar as a front porch gathering. They'll be performing original tunes from their two albums including the acclaimed "House on Fire" which has been featured on folk music radio, including NHPR's Kate McNally Folk Show and WERU Radio in Blue Hill, ME.  They have performed on the stage of the Ossipee Valley Music Festival, Passim Folk Club, Stone Mountain Music Center and many regional fairs and festivals too numerous to mention.
